So I'm thinking one day and reading through all my old stories and junk and wondering to myself... Why do I keep stumbling on certain parts in my stories? I mean I do a whole lot of research on the subject of romance and i think I'm pretty competant at conveying emotions. Yet... I keep running into a road block along the way.
The romantic part of a ROMANCE story. Half-way as I'm clacking on the keys I'm thinking oh shit to myself. This is a HUGE problem. S I went to garner advice.
I told one of my friends about this problem.
And I feel she just about gave the worst advice. EVER.
"Research by going on a date." she told me(not in these exact words but I do not wish to quote her). I think all the blood rushed up to my face in those two seconds when I read those words.
I feel like i'm spilling my guts here. But I've honest to god never, ever dated anyone-ever-before. And although my stories are romance ones. They are based off pure thought. Fantasy. So I scrapped that idea. There was NO WAY I was going to make a list of attributes I want in a guy and just randomly select a guy that fits the criteria!
ISN'T that DESPERATE???
Gahh! I better think of another solution. One that doesn't involve my complete lack of dating experience...
